David I. Waddell, MD, FACOG
Dr. Waddell is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His experience includes services as a research examiner for Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, an Emergency Room physician for Lawrence County Hospital in Monticello, Mississippi, and Director of House Staff Physicians for Central Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Waddell started a solo practice in 1997 and worked alone until 2000, at which time he and Dr. Gnam formed Women’s Health Associates. He is a member of the Mississippi State Medical Association, the Central Mississippi Medical Society, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and many other professional organizations.
Edward C. Gnam, III, MD, FACOG
A graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, Dr. Gnam completed his medical education at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, Texas, where he served as an extern at St. Mary’s Hospital. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, where he also served at Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Gnam is a member of numerous professional organizations such as the Central Mississippi Medical Society, the Mississippi State Medical Association, the Mississippi Chapter of the American College of Surgeons, and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His specialties include minimally invasive robotic laparoscopic surgery, hysterectomy and the management of incontinence, infertility, and fibroids.
John M. Baten, MD, FACOG, FACS, FPMRS
Dr. Baten is a board certified Urogynecologist and Reconstructive Surgeon, OB/GYN. He specializes in Urogynecology, Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Pelvic Floor Dysfunctions of all types, Pelvic Pain, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Cosmetic Gynecology, General Gynecology, and High Risk OB. He is a Fellow of the American College of OB/GYN as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons (AACS) and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist (AAGL). Dr. Baten is a certified minimally invasive surgeon by the American Institute of Minimally Invasive Surgery (AIMIS). Dr. Baten attended college and medical school at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, LA and residency at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. His memberships include American Urogynecological Society (AUGS), International Urogynecological Association (IUGA), International Academy of Pelvic Surgeons, International Pelvic Pain Society, International Society of Sexual Medicine, International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health, and the International Continence Society (ICS).
Gregory A. Vance, MD, FACOG
Dr. Vance graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, followed by a residency in Family Medicine. He practiced as a Board Certified Family Medicine Physician for six years before deciding to return for another residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After completing his second residency, he joined Women’s Health Associates in 2005. He now practices as a board certified Physician in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also honored to serve as Medical Director for the Center for Pregnancy Choices in Jackson, MS. He is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Central Mississippi Medical Society, and Mississippi State Medical Association.
Shane M. Sims, MD
A graduate of William Carey College in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Dr. Sims earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, Mississippi, where he also completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He joined Women’s Health Associates in 2009 and became board certified in 2010.
Kay Midler, DO
Dr. Midler is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, board certified by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She practices both obstetrics and gynecology—delivering babies and performing surgery, including laparoscopy, hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, open procedures and robotic surgery. The DaVinci Robot is the latest least invasive surgical technique available allowing you to get back to your busy life as quickly as possible. Most robotic hysterectomies are now done as outpatient procedures. She recently added the Strawberry Laser to her office practice which is used for inch loss in many individuals that have met their weight goal and need minor contouring in problem areas. She enjoys providing excellent care to her patients across all the stages of their lives and cherishes the life-long relationships with her patients and families.
Dr. Midler addresses most gynecological issues from irregular or heavy menstrual cycles to bladder problems. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery. As a woman, Dr. Midler understands the importance of healthcare for woman. She believes that taking time and listening to patients is essential to help them make educational decisions about their health and well-being. She particularly enjoys taking care of both routine and high risk pregnancies.

Dr. Remley is a Board Certified OBGYN who enjoys both obstetrics and gynecology. After living and working in McComb, Mississippi, starting his own practice, McComb OBGYN Associates, he now resides in …..
